Tasers were distributed to Tashkent law enforcement officers
A taser is an alternative to a service firearm. And the practice of using tasers by law enforcement officers is involved in more than a hundred countries around the world.
The issuance of tasers to Uzbek law enforcement officers is accompanied by strict instructions on the procedure and conditions for their use.
The use of stun guns is permissible in order to protect public order, prevent crime and prevent offenses.
The use of special means is regulated by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Weapons" and the Law "On Internal Affairs Bodies".
The following persons who have committed offenses may be exposed to this active means of protection:

persons who disobeyed the lawful demands of an internal affairs officer or who actively resisted.

persons who disobeyed the lawful demands of an internal affairs officer or who actively resisted.
