Congratulations to our colleague on this high state award!

Director General of JSC NPO Spetsmaterialov Mikhail Vladimirovich Silnikov has been awarded a high state award — the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, 4th degree. On December 12, Mikhail Vladimirovich received the Order from the hands of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin in the Catherine Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.

The high award was a recognition of Mikhail Vladimirovich's merits as the head of NPO Spetsmaterialov, his contribution to the development and production of the latest models of special equipment, as well as many years of dedicated work.

Mikhail Vladimirovich Silnikov is a leading Russian specialist in the field of combustion and explosion mechanics; candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, doctor of technical sciences; professor, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

In 1991, Mikhail Vladimirovich took the post of director of the special materials laboratory of the Central Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense Industry. In 1993, the laboratory was reorganized into the Scientific and Production Enterprise of Special Materials, and now it is JSC NPO Spetsmaterialov.

Mikhail Vladimirovich's work has been recognized with a number of state awards and prizes. We sincerely congratulate our esteemed colleague on yet another well-deserved high award!
