Uzbek police will be equipped with stun guns and tablets
Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed the Ministry of Internal Affairs to develop and submit proposals to the government by mid-April on the phased equipping of employees of coordination departments and departments of internal affairs with tasers. At the same time, the Ministry must determine the strict procedure and conditions for their application.
Today, law enforcement forces in many countries of the world actively use stun guns to suppress armed resistance, neutralize a suspect, in the event that the forces are not equal. As a rule, when using this special remedy, a person has a convulsive muscle contraction, he begins to settle, disorientation occurs. Sometimes there is a loss of consciousness.
In addition, the police will be equipped with mobile phones and tablets. Thus, the Head of state instructed the Ministries of Internal Affairs and Finance to ensure the phased equipping of employees of internal affairs departments, and, first of all, prevention inspectors and operatives with official mobile phones and tablets.
All these devices must be equipped with special software and access to databases of electronic information systems of internal affairs bodies.
