Russian police officers will receive electric shock shields

  • Russian police officers will receive electric shock shields
Special electroshock shields may soon be put into service by units of the Russian Guard and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The outer surface of the shield has the ability to shock.
The last day of the exhibition of advanced law enforcement technologies is taking place in Balashikha, near Moscow. At one of the stands, a policeman demonstrates the capabilities of a new electric shock shield.
The shield still protects the policeman from stones, bottles and other objects, but in addition, its outer surface is capable of electric shock. During the operation of the shocker, the shield emits an eerie crackle of an electric discharge. In addition, the surface of the shield can be treated with a special non-flammable compound. The shield will not light up even if a bottle of gasoline hits it.
The novelty has already passed all tests and can be delivered to the Interior Ministry this year.
