The history of the "MARCH GROUP" is 25 years long
Last year marked the 25th anniversary of the release of the first electroshock devices with the "MARCH" logo. The occasion is more than suitable to recall the main stages of the formation and development of the company.
1992 — the formation of the team of the company "MARCH"
The main thing is the idea! Several employees of the Radio Engineering Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences got into the hands of an electroshock police baton of European manufacture. Professional curiosity forced me to disassemble the device, and familiarity with the filling led to the idea that it could be done better.
1993 — the official registration of the company (March) and the release of the first tasers (December)
Said and done! And the first "Scorpion-350" with four electrodes was born, and soon — and "Malvina-250-A".
1994 — the law "On weapons" prohibited the possession and use of ASH by citizens
A promising idea to launch the production of civilian stun guns for self-defense came across a new law "On weapons". But the company's management did not give up: focusing on the development of ESH models for law enforcement agencies, they simultaneously engaged in promoting the idea of the need for civilian shockers at the highest level.
1997 — adoption of the new law "On Weapons"
The result of these efforts was the lifting of the ban on ASH in the new law "On weapons". Irina Anatolyevna Stolyarevskaya received a commendation from the State Duma for her work on the new law, and became an official expert on electroshock weapons of the State Duma Security Committee.
1998 — obtaining a license
The new law allowed citizens to use electroshock weapons only from Russian licensed manufacturers. The company "MART" became the first among such manufacturers.
2000 — the release of the first stun gun "Malvina-200-B" and the opening of its own certified testing laboratory
By the beginning of the new millennium, MART had developed a new battery-powered Malvina-200 model. And the creation of our own laboratory "Expertise of ESH" allowed us to raise the quality of products to a new level.
2001 — release of Taser cartridges for tasers
The "MARCH" shockers have learned how to shoot. So far, with Taser cartridges.
2002 — the first stun gun "AIR 107-U" (Spanish 350) with a removable battery
The first police taser…
2002 — the first state contract for stun guns of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
...and the first government contract!
2003 — the release of the first stun gun "Malvina-200-A" and the first inspection device "Periscope-165"
The catalog was supplemented with another model of the stun gun, and "Periscope-165" became the first swallow in a series of "non-shock" developments of "MARCH".
2004 — the release of the first stun gun "Karakurt"
The first "Karakurt" marked the beginning of a line of stun guns in the form of a pistol grip.
2006 — the release of the first firing stun gun, its own firing cartridge "BTER", and a shortened shocker "Scorpion-250"
"2006" is not just another mark in the chronology of the company, but a real milestone in its history. The first Russian shooting shocker and its cartridge were developed by specialists of "MART"! Soon, the company will completely switch to the production of contact-remote models of the ESU.
2010 — the release of the new inspection device "Periscope-185"
"Periscope-165" has grown, and has become "Periscope-185"!
2011 — the release of the light and sound cartridge "KSS" and shocker series "Scorpion" with removable batteries
Development of removable batteries: now the owners of Scorpions can not worry about a low battery. If there is no place to recharge the shocker, just put a new battery!
It is difficult to calculate how many times the KSS light and sound cartridge has been used since 2011. But we can say with confidence: those against whom "KSS" was used will never forget it!
2012 — the release of the first stun guns with a laser designator
Shooting with the BTER cartridge has become even more convenient!
2013 — release of a shortened shocker for the Ministry of Internal Affairs "AIR 107-U" (Spanish 250)
